About the Event
This new collection is inspired by different Tarot cards, first focusing on some of the major arcana cards. Tarot is many things, but for most people it is known for its ways to foresee life’s paths, or to be inspired by the attempt to gain insight into a question or situation.
I enjoy the art of tarot and appreciates its mystical influences; tarot is often feared but can be used to open the mind in order to explore one’s subconscious. Come and enjoy my own interpretation of the first few tarot cards, to the steps of making my own deck.
I am excited to announce I will be apart of this years Franklinton Pride lineup of events. The Franklinton community of businesses and its famed arts district will celebrate year two of a local community Pride celebration centered on the arts and local businesses in the area while raising funds for local LGBTQIA+ organizations on June 26, 2021. This is year two of the local community event that was created when the COVID pandemic caused the citywide cancelation of large permitted gatherings like the annual Stonewall Columbus Pride March and events.
*Due to Covid, beverages and snacks will not be provided for this event.
** If you can not make the event that is totally fine, be sure to stop by and see the work in person between May 1st-June 30th my work will be on display.
